Plans, coordinates, and directs production of various
marketing projects, while adhering to approved budgets.
Confers with Marketing Analysts and Product Managers
to determine marketing requirements and budget limitations.
Submits proposed programs and estimated budgets for
approval to Marketing Analysts, Product Managers, and Directors
Coordinates the activities of staff involved in copywriting,
market research, design and photography; purchasing media time and space,
and developing special displays and promotional items.
Negotiates and authorizes contracts with newspaper,
radio, television and direct marketing representatives.
Oversees advertising campaigns, including print, electronic,
and direct mail outlets.
Checks copy for accuracy and brand compliance.
May handle internal public relations needs, including
dealing with the media, overseeing press releases, coordinating PR programs
and suggesting future directions.
Qualifications:
Three or more years of project/account management experience, or
three to five years project management in print/production required.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field desirable.
