Marketing - Marketing Generalist

Rio Grande is seeking a marketing professional to join our marketing team as an analyst with an emphasis on program development and trade show coordination. This person develops and coordinates marketing, sales, trade show and promotional efforts on behalf of the company, its product lines and its services.
The Fun.
- Planning and launching marketing campaigns.
- Coordinating future market growth plans for products and services.
- Analyzing marketing data to identify opportunities and troubleshoot problems.
- Obtaining market research information through customer surveys, interviews, outside consumer testing and analysis.
- Measuring sales results of various marketing vehicles.
- Participation in professional societies and educational workshops.
- Analyzing jewelry trade magazines.
- Traveling! (Travel is required.)
The Requirements.
Strong communication, project planning/management, negotiation and creative skills
are a must. In addition, the successful candidate will possess a high level of self-directed initiative and be detail oriented. Excellent mathematical and organizational skills will greatly help this individual. CMP or other trade show planner certification is desirable.
A bachelor's degree in marketing or four years of related experience (in a marketing or sales environment) is required.
