Description:

Working from a model of a finished jewelry component, the mold cutter engraves in a rubber mold the reverse image of the desired component.

Using impressions and small hand tools, the cutter replicates exactly the image.

Qualifications:

Training in the arts, particularly sculpting or other three dimensional arts, desirable.
Excellent dexterity, excellent eyesight (corrected or uncorrected), fine attention to detail and a determination to turn out flawless molds, even if rework is required.
