- In addition to the responsibilities of Business Team Coach, the
Quality Coach is responsible for planning and directing activities
concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality
standards for industrial processes, materials and products.
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing
and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as
chemical, electrical or mechanical.
- Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions
for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production
equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities.
- Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of
discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
- Involves workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating
data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability
in all quality and process development, with a goal of accomplishing
technical transfer of quality focus and knowledge.
- Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions
on quality control activities.
- College degree or requisite experience required, including appropriate
quality certification; Masters degree highly desirable.
- Three or more years experience at a decision-making level in quality
at another organization required.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate individuals
from a wide range of backgrounds, and the willingness and ability to
consistently lead from the highest possible example of professional
and personal performance are all requirements of this role.
- A desire to pursue personal and professional growth as a part of the
role is also necessary.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds required.
