Human Resources – Recruiting Specialist

Description:

  • In addition to generalized HR knowledge, the Human Resources/Recruiting Specialist is responsible for recruiting and test analysis for all new positions.
  • Administers and scores aptitude, vocational and critical thinking tests.
  • Keeps records of all employment applicants and their status in the hiring cycle.
  • Manages HR database and records employee information or assists other Coaches in recording appropriate information.
  • Updates employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
  • Maintains and distributes employee information, handbook and other communications.
  • Interacts with the New Mexico Department of Labor as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • College degree or requisite experience required, including appropriate HR certification.
  • Previous experience at a decision-making level in human resources at another for-profit organization required.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, and the willingness and ability to consistently lead from the highest possible example of professional and personal performance are all requirements of this role.
  • A desire to pursue personal and professional growth as a part of the role is also necessary.
