In addition to generalized HR knowledge, the Human Resources/Recruiting
Specialist is responsible for recruiting and test analysis for all new
positions.
Administers and scores aptitude, vocational and critical thinking
tests.
Keeps records of all employment applicants and their status in the
hiring cycle.
Manages HR database and records employee information or assists other
Coaches in recording appropriate information.
Updates employee files to answer inquiries and provides information
to authorized persons.
Maintains and distributes employee information, handbook and other
communications.
Interacts with the New Mexico Department of Labor as appropriate.
Qualifications:
College degree or requisite experience required, including appropriate
HR certification.
Previous experience at a decision-making level in human resources
at another for-profit organization required.
Excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate individuals
from a wide range of backgrounds, and the willingness and ability to
consistently lead from the highest possible example of professional
and personal performance are all requirements of this role.
A desire to pursue personal and professional growth as a part of the
role is also necessary.
