Makes recommendations and devises strategies for employee benefits
plans
(Health, Dental, Vision, EAP) by reviewing benefits programs and contracts.
Supervises the preparation of benefits-related reports required by
government agencies.
Analyzes benefits options and estimates future costs.
Manages all Workers' Comp claims and reporting.
Manages pre-employment and random drug testing.
Answers employee questions and problems about benefits policies and
procedures.
Prepares insurance and related reports and plan descriptions required
by government agencies.
Keeps current on industry, regulatory and legislative developments
that can effect
the company's benefits package.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate business field, or equivalent
experience required.
At least five years' experience in benefits field.
Must be able to interface with employee benefits consultants, insurance
brokers
and representatives, and other outside organizations regarding both
the provisions
and cost-effectiveness of employee benefits plans.
