Coordinate and manage documentation archives for engineering drawings,
production specifications and schedules, to ensure customer contract
requirements are met through ensuring that proper documentation is
available at all times.
Schedule check-in/check-out for drawings, specifications, software,
technical manuals and other documents and manage REV changes of documents.
Monitor status of projects to ensure documentation is submitted
according to schedule.
Review and verify project documents for completeness, format and
compliance with documentation and REV requirements.
Manage library or section containing specialized materials for product
design, development and manufacturing operations.
Select, order, catalog and classify volume reference collection
for professional and administrative staffs.
Assist teammates in documentation problems.
Maintain computer database of documentation.
Qualifications:
Two to four years performing document control or administrative support,
preferably in
an engineering environment.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work efficiently and interact
with many different stakeholders requiring various documentation support
simultaneously.
Ability to work comfortably in a team environment.
Some education in library science or related field desirable.
