Rio Grande is seeking a friendly, committed associate who enjoys working to in a fast-paced environment to join the MTO (Made-To-Order) Team. MTO makes jewelers’ lives easier by cutting, preparing and packaging raw jewelry materials to our customers’ specifications.
The Fun.
- Measure, calculate and prepare raw materials to exact standards
- Read and complete orders from customers ordering wire, casting grain and more in precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum
- Operate cutting machinery
- Tag and document orders as they are completed
- Package completed orders for shipping
The Requirements.
MTO team members must possesses basic math skills and be able to use a calculator, scale and ruler. A successful candidate must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, have basic computer skills for data entry and be able work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. MTO associates work in close proximity to and with one another. At The Bell Group, associates are invited and expected to participate in the management of themselves and their co-workers. As such, strong interpersonal, teamwork and self-management skills are a must.
